Responsible for the software development lifecycle on a variety of markets: - Provided functional specifications and technical requirements for on-boarding of real-time and reference data feeds to the Refinitiv Elektron feed product using waterfall or Agile methodologies, following standardised data models - Analysed feed specifications and worked with delivery squads and QA to build and test solutions - Represented the company in technical meetings with data sources (stock exchanges and other trading venues) and built strong relationships with contacts to understand their diverse trading systems - Produced customer facing change documentation and led Q&A sessions for major changes - Provided specialist knowledge and expertise to colleagues worldwide to assist with customer support, training and sales Onboarded data from a number of new trading venues into Refinitiv systems such as Turquoise and MTS Bondvision, and successfully delivered client-requested enhancements on equities, derivatives, fixed income and other asset classes traded on London Stock Exchange and CurveGlobal, Borsa Italiana and IDEM, MTS, LMAX, and various MTFs. In addition: - Drove the adoption of a centralised requirements definition and management tool - Actively contributed to a global team of recognised market data experts to define and govern target data models - Collaborated with architecture teams to develop the workflow and tools supporting a new product which was critical to delivering data enhancements on legacy systems for MiFID II in 2018. - Mentored and supported new colleagues, and facilitated projects outsourced to third party development teams; training, coaching and guiding colleagues on market data and systems knowledge, auditing requirements, test results and final documentation.
