As a founding member of Barclays' transformative Digital Eagles initiative, I played a pivotal role in enhancing digital proficiency across our Southern region. My leadership of large virtual teams was crucial in fostering a digitally engaged culture and improving operational efficiencies.I engaged face to face with frontline staff, driving a cultural shift towards digital fluency that significantly boosted employee confidence and competence. This shift was instrumental in influencing the CEO and board to adopt a new support model, greatly enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction.Under my direction, we significantly increased mobile app registrations through targeted digital campaigns, improving colleague engagement and brand visibility. My networking skills also fostered a key relationship with the Barclays Emergency Resilience Group (BERG). Through this connection, I was recognized as a Future Leader and became a key speaker at the Future Leaders Summit, sponsored by Prince Charles' charity, Business In The Community, and Fujitsu at the O2 arena. This collaboration linked the Digital Eagles program with Prince Charles' charity and established a crucial connection between digital security and BERG.I supported Barclays employees across the UK in adopting digital processes for customer interactions, from basic app literacy to HTML coding, thus narrowing the digital divide.
