I carry out estate maintenance tasks on a self-employed basis for several different households. Tasks include traditional and pole fed window cleaning, minor electrical work, plumbing, pool maintenance, and grounds maintenance. Duties have included using a ride on mover and power tools for lawn cutting, leaf clearing and hedge pruning. Weeding, shrub pruning and bed maintenance of existing borders and litter picking, cleaning and sweeping.

Bracknell

I worked on a 1-to-1 basis with a child aged 8 with multiple learning disabilities including ASD, to help management of their behaviour. I employed behaviour management strategies and reported problems and progress to the school. I was able to provide attention appropriate to pupils needs and modified this approach depending on their behaviour. I established a good relationship with the individual and their family, in order to support them in learning activities and in developing appropriate relationships with other children and adults.

Finchampstead

As a playworker, I was responsible for the care of children aged 4-11 in an after and before school setting. I helped to provide safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities both indoors and outdoors, ensuring activities were inclusive for all children to participate. I developed and maintained good relationships with parents, children and other staff. I learnt how to correctly implement behaviour management policies in accordance with guidance provided by Gorse Ride Primary School. Over the four years I have willingly attended courses to keep knowledge and skills current, including First Aid.During the four years I worked at Gorse Ride I was also responsible for carrying out P.E. lessons and clubs. One of my greatest achievements and opportunities was the chance to put together and train a school football team who were able to participate and win at many football games and tournaments across the county.

Finchampstead

I worked alongside the sports coordinator to plan and run high quality sports sessions, whilst ensuring the safety of the children. I organised and supervised sporting events both inside and outside the school during the week. I was given the task of organising the school sports day, which I thoroughly enjoyed and carried out to a high standard. Additionally, I was responsible for sorting important admin related to sporting events including letters, registration and consent forms.

I was responsible for planning and delivering PPA cover and PE lessons of various lengths with set learning intentions linked to the curriculum, both within schools and as part of holiday clubs. Sessions were carried out in schools across different socio-economic areas, with children from a diverse range of backgrounds. Sessions covered a wide range of sports e.g. Netball, Basketball, Gymnastics and Dance for ages 4-11. I performed assessments and monitored classes. Furthermore, I carried out risk assessment of sessions and logged incidents or accidents that occurred. I aimed to encouraged participation from all students and made sure each session was accessible for children of all abilities and experience.
