Using Microsoft’s Visual Studio .Net Framework, SQL Server and Transact-SQL, design, implement and support the Dental Practice Management Software and other supporting apps used in over 300 practices nationwide involving development, maintenance and security in the following areas:• Role based security throughout the application• Front Desk appointment scheduling and patient registration• Design complex SQL stored procedures for real-time calculation of coverage benefits when posting dental procedures during a patient’s checkout• Ledger to track postings of procedures and other charges, patient payments, claims and claim payments• Using XML, interface with online prescription web portal API and working with the vendor to achieve certification• Orthodontic module to track patient orthodontic care and accrual accounting during the course of treatment• Design complex SQL stored procedures and ad-hoc queries to support various reports for accounting, patient care, practice and doctor production, etc.• Support Help-desk with writing scripts using Power Shell and Transact SQL scripts to update production databases including but not limited to: updating provider fee schedules, coverage fee schedules, practice and doctor fee schedules, reassigning patient providers and practices, updating insurance coverages, etc.• Solve SQL production database performance issues using SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) tools such as proper indexing, analyzing execution plans and utilizing the query optimizer, DMVs (Dynamic Management Views), and tuning dynamic queries and stored procedures for maximum performanceUsing the same tools mentioned above, design, implement and support a time keeping application to track employee time in all practices and resource groups nationwide involving development in the following areas:• Calculating daily and weekly overtime hours worked • Reports for practice managers and payroll• Importing and exporting from and to other payroll systems
