I was responsible for on-site technical support of Radio Frequency communications primarily in the Pacific Rim, with distance support to naval units worldwide. • Provided technical support to U.S. Naval units in the Pacific Rim by assisting with repairs and alignments of varied electronics systems and all common test equipment. • Conducted inspections, certifications and assessments of communications equipment operation and maintenance on fleet units worldwide.• Supervised installation of electronic systems for proper operation.

An amphibious assault ship, providing a base of operations and command and control for 2000 sailors and 3000+ Marine aviators and ground troops. I was responsible for the maintenance and distribution of general purpose test equipment (GPETE), technical publications and fall protection equipment ship wide. Managed an inventory of 600+ pieces of GPETE with a 96% ready for issue rate.Reduced electromagnetic interference (EMI) to radar and communication systems, by identifying and correcting 150+ EMI sources.Saved $33,000+ in repair costs by utilizing micro-miniature soldering and recycling GPETE.
