The areas in STEM have always elicit a strong curiosity in me; studying mechanical engineering satisfied my desire to see these fields integrate to implement improvements to our daily lives. My aspirations for my career are to improve deficiencies in current technology that will optimize the infrastructures around our environment. I am confident working with a team, specifically, in my ability to effectively communicate results and data gathered from utilizing software programs. My degree has also allowed me to understand the fundamentals of different types of programs. I am certain that any program similar to AutoCAD, Ansys, and MATLAB I would be able to learn quickly whenever the need arises. Other experiences I have gained through my education have been through team projects, a few of the skills that I have acquired through this are: strategic planning of a time frame and cost estimate, data analysis, and recording the results in a well structured report.
