As a Graduate Assistant Coach, I work alongside the University of Akron's women's soccer coaching staff to manage the current team, recruit future Zips, and connect with our Alumni network as well as the greater Akron community. Some of my additional responsibilities include coordinating trip logistics, providing small group training sessions, and assisting with our monthly newsletter.

As a youth sports coach, I worked with young athletes in the Cleveland Municipal School District. My primary responsibility was coaching soccer, but I also gained valuable insights into motivating both individuals and teams. Moreover, I actively engaged in interpersonal conflict resolution. I gained experience in lesson preparation and program development.

I was a member of CWRU's women's soccer program for two years, first contributing to a record-setting season and leading as captain the following season to re-set all of those records and then some. My role as a captain involved more than just leading during games; it encompassed guiding my teammates, fostering team cohesion, and embodying our team values. I facilitated open dialogue within the team, addressing concerns, tackling adversity, and celebrating victories together. My ability to convey the team tactics, motivate others, and provide constructive feedback contributed to team unity and ultimately our success.

As an intern at America SCORES Cleveland, I gained experience in a behind-the-scenes administrative support role including planning events and creating educational materials. Additionally, as a youth soccer coach, I worked with students (1st-5th grade) across the Cleveland Metropolitan School District in after school soccer program. In this role, I learned how to build trust in order to motivate and guide the development of individuals and teams.

I was a member of the women’s soccer team at UIC for two years where I contributed to the team’s advancement to the Horizon League Tournament for the first time in program history. I learned valuable lessons about hard work, time management, teamwork, and responsibility.
