● Review General Ledger and Cost Center coding on vendor invoices and Purchase Orders ensuring correct P&L or Balance Sheet accounts are selected ● Review general ledger transactions, prepare journal entries, analyze variances, and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly● Prepare and post accruals for T&E and credit card expenses for month and year end● Maintain the integrity of all accounting records in accordance with GAAP, internal controls, and Finance policies and procedures● Participate in the redesign of the Procure to Pay process as a Super User in Training• Hands on doer- heavily involved in the day to day execution of the project• Expected to be a Power User by end of project• Primary Trainer of End Users• Provide positive communications and support both within the project team and to the organization in general● Provide financial support for external and internal audits and directly interact with auditors●Perform analysis and obtain documentation to support the final disposition of all transactions identified as representing potential unclaimed property●Prepare payment proposals• Reconcile payment listing in ERP system to CEO/CFO approved payments• Analyze future large dollar payments to ensure cash requirement are met by treasury• Manage payments for foreign subsidiaries in Great Britain, Germany and China• Review and verify wire and ACH payments to mitigate risk of banking fraud●Post invoices to trade payables and vendor sub-ledger● Serve as a liaison with purchasing team to ensure invoices are posted to the correct purchase order●Lead team meetings on a bi-monthly basis with Sr AP Specialists and AP Accountants to ensure proper maintenance and growth of their job-related capabilities● Provide accounting assistance to budget managers● Manage vendor relations, as well as internal customer service relations with fellow managers and employees●Ensure Sales & Use tax is properly applied
