Lexi Soukoreff started Daub + Design in 2010 as a way to explore colour, pattern, functionality and various surface design techniques. Her experience in the fashion industry and knowledge of traditional textile practices has helped shape Daub + Design’s style as it evolves to include design solutions that are respectful of the environment, and reflect the Vancouver-based textile design studio’s signature aesthetic. In the 14 years since Daub + Design's inception, the line has been featured in Canada's FASHION Magazine, The Georgia Straight, The Westender, SELF Magazine, Fitness Magazine, VitaDaily, the Vancouver Sun, Canadian Living, Chatelaine and on the Today Show.Responsibilities:- creating a unified aesthetic and range plan for the line including hand-dyed fabrics and exclusive prints for both activewear and loungewear.- dyeing all fabrics using fibre specific dyes to an environmentally aware company standard- product development and pattern making- sourcing suppliers & trend forecasting- production: forecasting, liaising with factories/home sewers, ordering, quality control.- developing/maintaining e-commerce website via Shopify- creative director & stylist for brand image & photography- hiring (photographers, assistants, models & MUA) & styling for all e-commerce photoshoots- design of all print/online materials - creative direction of social media calendar & content- pitching of product & lifestyle to various buyers, media & publicists- development of wholesale catalogue and accounts including attendance at US trade shows such as Active Collective & Axis NYC- setting up & maintaining Facebook advertising; alternatively working with agencies to communicate advertising goals- booth design for trade shows such as One of a Kind Toronto & Circle Craft. - concept development & design of DAUB Granville including fixtures, cabinet, signage, lighting and interiors- buyer for DAUB’s flagship lifestyle store on Granville Street in Vancouver, BC.

Precision dyer/breakdown artist for film & television shows such as Once Upon a Time, Arrow, Fringe, Alcatraz, Human Target, Psych, Sanctuary, Mission Impossible 4, V; various projects such as Gap Sprize Campaign & 2010 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony Costumes.

Six week contract to work alongside fashion designer Kyuin Chae to precision dye garments for his debut showing of his collection in Canada.

Coordinated online orders of vinyl decals with production team and designers; responsible for shipping orders within specified deadline; managed wholesale production. Screened and hired new employees to help assemble small, tight knit team.
