Lexie Franklin recently moved to Miami, FL from New York City where she began her career. Lexie served in multiple senior roles including Director of Finance and Director of Corporate Development at GLAMSQUAD, a market leading, mobile, on-demand beauty service provider. Prior to joining GLAMSQUAD, Lexie worked as an Investment Analyst at Insight Venture Partners, a leading global venture capital and private equity firm with $18 billion under management investing in high-growth software and internet-enabled companies. Lexie proprietarily sourced and led investments in four businesses and conducted full business due diligence on five deals with a combined investment amount of ~$330M.Lexie graduated summa cum laude from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She graduated with a BS in Economics and concentrated in Finance. During her junior year, Lexie studied abroad in Israel at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, where she also briefly participated as an observer in the Zell Entrepreneurship Program. Lexie's personal interests include tennis, Pilates, mentoring children, meeting new people, trying new food and wine, and social media (specifically managing her English Bulldog's Instagram/Facebook, @KingBentleyTheBulldog, who has over 120K followers). Lexie also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
