I’m a passionate, hard-working, and creative public relations professional with an enthusiasm for building relationships. The most crucial skill that I bring to the table is my contagious and motivational energy. I shine in influencer partnerships, marketing to Gen Z and telling others’ stories. I started my career in destination marketing at the No. 1 Economic Development Council in the Country, where I helped create, develop, and launch Kansas City’s global brand, “KC Heartland.” Now as a Senior Communications Manager at H&R Block, I’ve advanced my skillset in external communications like earned media, storytelling, and brand activations for a multibillion-dollar brand. Other ventures include leading digital communications, content and editorial for a small business magazine, then public relations and social media strategy for an agency and as a freelance professional. I also have been involved in the community since early in my career, including as President of the KC International Association of Business Communicators. Industries I’ve worked in include healthcare, transportation, construction, entertainment, fashion, supply chain, financial services, animal health, talent recruitment, agriculture, and food and beverage.
