The Ann Arbor City Council has proclaimed that Ann Arbor will be carbon neutral by 2030. To assist in this effort the city is creating a volunteer citizens group (A2ZERO Ambassadors) to help spread sustainability information and to assist in the implementation of climate-positive activities. This cohort is currently (as of 12/8/22) engaged in the training program. We are each forming a plan for positive engagement and selecting our focus from the A2Zero Climate Action Plan. I am very proud to be a part of this group.

• Responsible for assuring the quality of the Region's projects• Perform project programming and project management for various projects in the Metro Region.• Perform risk-based reviews of design plans, documenting deficiencies in Bluebeam, and providing direction to design project managers. Lead post-construction review meetings with designers, construction, and local agency personnel to discuss, and document possible design improvements for the $350M Metro region program.• Developed workflow and system for capturing design deficiencies, vetting of the action, and exposing the lessons learned in a searchable system using MS Access and Sharepoint. Effort was recognized by Lansing and the FHWA as value-added to the current process.• Presented Quality Assurance Best Practices at the MDOT Development Conference. Published Innovation Is Hard Newsletter and participated in the Metro Insider publication.• Successfully realized greater than $5M savings leading the Metro Innovation Team, tracking innovations, hosting meetings and Shark Tank sessions. • Coordinate and oversee statewide highway construction operations review of the Davis Bacon and DBE/MBE/WBE ensure compliance. Perform and oversee statewide construction engineer certification and documentation program. Responsible for statewide compliance with prevailing wage laws.• Developed estimates, request for proposals, negotiated, and managed prevailing wage oversight contracts.• Worked with Regions and TSC's to develop prevailing wage website as education and communication tool• Presented Construction Administration & Documentation Update at the ACEC Conference, 2009.

Sterling Heights, Mi

• Provide expert technical advice and consultation to utility companies, permit agent, construction, contractors and customers for completion of permit work. Act as the dedicated resource for contract and project management necessary to achieve the department’s goal in the area of permits, conducting utility coordination meetings, and communicating with utilities, local agencies, designers and Lansing. Review all engineering and calculations submitted as part of the permitting process including drainage, guardrail, traffic control, and other analysis to ensure compliance with appropriate specifications. Responsible for performing final sign off on plans for utility clearance. Review and approve permits for work within the right-of-way. Oversee the permit agent and permit process.

• Provide engineering consultation and documentation for deviations to the published structural repair manual (U.S. C ode of Federal Regulations 14 CFR Part 43) ensuring proper allocation of resources to meet schedule and scope.

• Supported 737/757 fuselage and empennage build up facilities by performing ultimate and fatigue stress analysis resulting in increased production by reduction of required rework. Performed finite element analysis utilizing Ansys. Utilized Fortran to expedite Ansys analysis.

• Provided engineering support as Material Review Board member to the 737/757 final assembly line by analyzing, formulating and dispositioning production discrepancies on aluminum, steel, and titanium structure. • Led the Customer Product Team for American Airlines first 737‐800 ensuring customer satisfaction, conducting meetings with various engineering and manufacturing groups to review issues and ensure resolution, performing and/or supervising root‐cause analysis and drawing changes, and tracking manufacturing disruptions due to configuration issues, resulting in on‐time delivery and highest customer satisfaction.
