From the first time I ever heard Dwayne Johnson utter the words, "If you smell what The Rock is cookin’," he became my inspiration and hero. From that inspiration I began to learn, as The Rock says, to “Just Bring It.” I am currently “bringing it” in many ways. For one, I have been working as a play-by-play commentator for several professional wrestling promotions in the Ontario independent wrestling scene, including Great Canadian Wrestling, Ontario Elite Wrestling, Unified Pro Wrestling and Kaos Pro Wrestling, enhancing the on-screen presentation and stories of the wrestlers who star in their shows. I also am an on-air traffic reporter for the Canadian Traffic Network, providing live and up-to-the-minute traffic reports across Southern Ontario for radio and television. From the day I was hired, it only took me 8 months to announce on-air for all thirty of the stations we serve, including live television airborne traffic for Global News Toronto Morning, Afternoon and Weekend.It was also that attitude that helped me when I was given the opportunity to anchor the Midday news for Sauga 960 AM, which also led to becoming the host and producer a weekly professional wrestling talk show called Ringside Heat, and producer of "The Greg Carrasco Show."Another attitude that Dwayne Johnson embodies is gratitude, and I myself am always humbled and grateful for the experiences and opportunities given to me during my time at Radio Humber, where I was able to gain experience in anchoring, play-by-play and color commentary for basketball, baseball, and volleyball, hosting in several music formats and producing.The Rock and his hard-working mentality inspires me every day to get to the goal ofone day being the lead play-by-play announcer for the WWE. I have a replica of hisWorld Wrestling Federation Championship belt and it is a reminder of who inspired me, and that every goal I commit to is achievable.
