I am a chemical engineer with 20 years of experience in process engineering and plant operations. I have worked on large-scale complex projects in various locations in Asia and North America. These projects include polymers, specialty chemicals, LNG and condensate, and gas processing plants.Process engineering experience includes process simulation, P&ID development, hydraulic calculations, preparation of equipment and instrument specifications, HAZOP/SIL reviews, pressure relief analysis/calculations, and preparation of safeguarding memoranda and operating manuals.I have also worked as an operations engineer for a polyethylene plant, where I planned and created procedures for startups, shutdowns, and product transitions. Prior to becoming the operations engineer, I have also worked as a process engineer for the same polyethylene plant, with various responsibilities including process monitoring and optimization, operations support, debottlenecking, and engineering of plant modifications.
