My name is Lexy Beer, and I am currently a sophomore at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, pursuing a major in Human Resources and Industrial Relations with a minor in Management.Over the past three years, I have gained valuable experience in various customer service roles, starting at Walmart and progressing to my current position as a Server at a local restaurant. My time as a Service Advocate at Target was particularly impactful, as it taught me the importance of teamwork and adaptability while I was trained in multiple departments. This experience reinforced my ability to collaborate effectively and support colleagues in a fast-paced environment.Currently, my role as a Server has further enhanced my skills in memorization, multi-tasking, and customer service. These experiences have solidified my passion for Human Resources, as I recognize the critical role HR plays in fostering positive workplace environments and supporting employee development.I am proficient in Microsoft Excel and continuously seek to expand my technical skills.
