I am a detail oriented and passionate high school basketball coach and substitute teacher. I was fortunate enough to spend one season as team captain of the men's basketball team at Bismarck State College, where I played for two years before transitioning to classes offered through Dickinson State University while still remaining in Bismarck. I have enrolled and passed a variety of courses offered by several great professors. While remaining in Bismarck, I have taken on the role of freshman boys basketball head coach for one of the premier athletic programs in the entire state.Upon completion of my Master's degree in Athletic Administration, I hope to find a position as an athletic director with the potential to have an immediate and positive impact on a program. Other positions that interest me include but are not limited to director of basketball operations, director of player development, assistant athletic director, basketball coach, or similar careers of that nature. I am open to considering positions at the high school or collegiate level, and understand that I will have to work diligently to build my reputation and resumé in order to prove myself as an athletic director or coach. The field is very competitive, but I believe firmly that I have prepared accordingly, having never skipped any steps or cutting any corners in my life. It would be very fulfilling to work in this field, and ultimately, I hope to have a positive impact on students, the same way that I was encouraged and taught by great people throughout high school and college.
