I have a background in, and have always had a passion for, Software Engineering. After graduating from UdelaR, Uruguay’s prestigious public university, as a Telecom Engineer and Information Security specialist, I worked in companies of all sizes. My first job was at a startup called InSwitch, a VAS provider for Telcos in LATAM and EMEA; it was a great experience. I learned a lot about deploying products in different countries and started developing an understanding of how startups operate. After leaving the job to backpack through Europe for two months, I joined Telefonica-Movistar, a prominent global Telco Provider, where I learned a great deal about implementing tech projects in big companies.Even before college, I always had an entrepreneurial mindset and dreamt of creating my own company. In 2012 I started exploring these ideas and discussing my vision with two life-long friends, and that is how Octobot came to life in October 2013.Since the beginning of Octobot, I’ve always contributed to the business from an operational perspective, researching and implementing frameworks with an obsession for creating scalable teams without compromising flexibility. In my experience, being able to adapt to the always-changing tech environment is vital for generating a long-lasting successful company.Key Experiences & Skills:- To this day, I have helped 25+ companies in their Digital Transformation- Implementation of agile frameworks with focus on flexibility and scalability- Team management, especially as Product Owner and Scrum Master.- Process implementation to build a modern and connected company- Information Security processes- Finances and Market enthusiast- Aikido (I’m a Black Belt!) and huge Soccer Fan
