About Laura Fernández Martínez
Senior marine engineer with more than 18 years of experience in submarine pipelines and coastal engineering. I have a wide experience in the development, coordination and supervising of all tasks related to the design of the submarine pipelines, intake and outfall systems and the marine works required for their construction in Desalination Plants, Water Treatment Plants, Power Plants and Oil&Gas. I have been involved on these projects from the conceptual to the detail engineering stages.I have also worked on the areas of metocean studies and wave modelling, downtime assessments, sediment dynamics, coastal management projects, design of aids to navigation and geographic information systems (GIS) applied to coastal and urban Master Plans.
