This innovation and decision-making method was applied by a wide range of organizations (e.g., Fortune 500, start-ups, NGOs, governments, universities) and projects (e.g., EU H2020, consultancy) in more than 20 countries across different continents. The VCW resulted from over 25 years of cases and experience in research, teaching and consultancy across the world.Currently he is involved in two large H2020 projects in the fields of Earth Observation (NextLand and NextOcean) as coordinator of the innovation ecosystem as well as marketing, commercialization, and sustainability strategies.Among others, he was awarded with the "2018 American Marketing Association Research in Excellence Award", one of the most prestigious scientific global awards in the marketing field. His research appeared in leading outlets, such as WSJ and TIME.He is/was a Visiting Professor/Scholar in different top schools across the globe (e.g., MIT, LBS, Vienna University)

For the last two decades he was a Visiting Scholar in different universities across the globe such as LBS, Korea University, MIT and Stanford University. He has teaching, research and business experience in governmental and nonprofit forums in several countries across the globe.He has been working on Space Business and Earth Observation (EO). Currently he is coordinating the innovation, marketing, commercialization, and sustainability strategies of EO services in two large EU H2020 projects: NextLand (agriculture, forestry) and NextOcean (maritime, fishery and aquaculture). He loves to be challenged, help to solve complex problems, create value while thinking with no box, question established practices, and to use late-adopters and his VCW- Value Creation Wheel meta framework to find solutions for paradoxes and difficult challenges. His personal drive is to help individuals, organizations and society to solve paradoxes and complex problems.Among others, his work was featured in the Harvard Business Publishing, Springer, Time magazine, Wall Street Journal, WSJ TV, as well as other American, Brazilian, Cypriot, and Portuguese media. He has spent more than 20 years studying the practices and drawbacks of hundreds of projects in the fields of Decision Making, Value Creation, Innovation, International Business, Marketing, and Tech-Transfer.He was recipient of the "2018 American Marketing Association Research in Excellence Award", one of the most prestigious global awards in the marketing field. His scientific papers have been published in more than 40 top peer reviewed journal articles and over 100 conference proceedings.
