Senior Claims Specialist
Current-Communicate with employees across multiple clients concerning the status of their leave or accommodation requests as well as related entitlements, and benefits, while ensuring compliance with relevant Federal, State, or Provincial legislation as well as client policies-Prepare and process claims & payments for multiple clients as it pertains to their leave programs (i.e. LOA Pay programs, CA VP&PFL, STD, NY Self-Insured DBL&PFL, Canada, etc), including determination of whether each claim is payable and benefits owed, and provide necessary information to clients' payroll departments-Accurately maintain up-to-date employee leave, accommodations, and claim files -Assist with the implementation of multiple additional services across existing clients as well as the implementation of new clients -Administer the rollout of new client policy changes while ensuring clear communication of updated policies to employees, providing feedback to team leadership and client contacts, and identifying necessary points of clarification-Participate in meetings with client contacts, payroll representatives, account management personnel, and implementation personnel while taking detailed notes -Promptly answer questions from client contacts on topics ranging from the status of employee files, to maintaining compliance with external laws and internal policies. -Provide superb customer service to both client representatives and their employees throughout the leave, accommodations, and claims process
