In most cases, it was apparent that this was the applicant’s first crack at writing a business plan. Since the applicant's business plan is her/his statement of capability of success, it is critical that the lender’s first impression is ‘this applicant pays attention to the details and possesses the professional and business knowledge, a clear plan and the support to be successful.’ I reviewed the business plan and offered comments and suggestions for improving its presentation. As I believe that it is crucial for the applicant to write her/his own plan, I only provided editorial commentary. Together with the applicant, I refined the business plan to create a plan that created positive impressions about the business and the applicant. The Business Plan Editor, LLC focuses on enhancing the client's plan in order to leave the lender with confidence that the applicant has the capability to be successful as a small business owner. Larry and his wife, Celia, live in Montgomery County, PA.
