My volunteer involvement with London Cycle Link continues. I create social media content on a regular basis, co-lead the Women Trans Femme bike repair workshop, oversee our bike valet services, plan and host volunteer appreciation events, help recruit and onboard new board members, and am preparing to co-organize the 2024 Annual General Meeting and the 3rd annual Forest City Slow Roll.

My involvement with Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-op and London Cycle Link as bike-fixing volunteer, key holder and general social organizer began in Spring 2021 when I needed affordable, hands-on, post-winter maintenance and ended up clicking well with the manager. Members know me for the weekly Volunteer Night and the monthly WTF Workshop (co-leading both since Fall 2021). In February, 2022 I created the Squeaky Wheel Bike Co-op Feedback Survey in anticipation of our move to Embassy Commons, to a 66% member participation rate. I was elected to the organization's board of directors in January 2023. In the spring that followed, I worked closely with the executive director Molly Miksa and other community volunteers and partners to create the Forest City Slow Roll. This event took place in June 2023 to great success with a 275 participant count and over $700 in donations.My work on the board and as a volunteer at our bike co-op has led to more opportunities: in December 2023, through a grant from Ontario Trillium Foundation, the organization funded my completion of certified bike mechanic training at Winterborne Bicycle Institute.
