Luther is a proven, results-oriented builder of innovative organizations inthe financial services and technology industries. His latest entrepreneurialventure is Access Capital Technologies, LLC (ACT), which providestechnology, capital and technical solutions to non-profits focused onunderserved markets. He is also the new Chair of PeopleFund, an Austin-basedCommunity Development Financial Institution (CDFI) serving small businessesand startups across Texas.Until recently, Luther served as Head of Digital Strategy for Fiserv LLC,leading the Digital Lending and Origination product team. Previously, he wasPresident and Co-Founder of iLendx, LLC, a fintech acquired by strategicpartner Fiserv in December 2018. Luther developed and delivered for clientbanks and credit unions iLendx's proprietary Digital Lending Experience(DLX), a user-friendly platform for opening accounts and loan products onsmart devices within minutes.Luther has held additional leadership roles with top brands including BankOne/ Chase and USAA. After leaving the corporate world in 2007, he joinedthe leadership team of cleantech startup Coolerado Corporation, where heraised capital and then ran operations. These efforts culminated in the saleto a strategic partner. Luther subsequently launched, funded and scalediLendx with other former USAA execs, leading to the eventual acquisition byFiserv.Luther is passionate about service and supporting mission-drivenorganizations, particularly in the community development and micro-lendingfield. He served on the Board of LiftFund, the largest US micro lender thatoffers capital and loans to underserved markets, and later served in aLiftFund leadership and fundraising role in the Dallas / Fort Worth market.In 2019, he joined the Board of Austin-based PeopleFund, supporting theorganization with digital strategy, credit risk management, as well asveterans loan programs.A proud veteran, Luther started his career in the military as an Air DefenseOfficer serving through the first Gulf War.
