I invented CoolSign, one of the earliest digital signage packages in 1998 as pats of AdSpace Networks. After many years with the company, the company was divided into two with the technology being sold off a couple times - now once again independent and focused on software development. I am also heavily involved with pushing the digital signage industry towards creating standards for interoperabiliy - and an area that is key to the long term success of the industry. This work is taking place under the auspices of POPAI.
