I developed firmware for signal acquisition, processing, and classification of speech signals using an STMicroelectronics development board, employing Mel frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) for accurate NAM signal classification via neural networks. Additionally, I designed the acoustic contextualization and analysis of speech signals approach, exploring diverse classification methods and developing firmware for analog-to-digital conversion of murmur signals interfaced with an STM32F407VG MCU, ensuring real-time data processing. Furthermore, I designed and implemented algorithmic tools for processing electroencephalographic (EEG) signals in a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) project, meticulously planning and testing acquisition paradigms, designing EEG signal conditioning processes, and employing various signal processing techniques for feature extraction and subsequent classification using local discriminant analysis (LDA) and neural networks.
