Working within a GMP and GLP lab environment to ISO 19001 and 13485. Carrying out all product testing required for calibration and development work. Handling product appropriately during stages of calibration, development and stability testing and retaining product for future testing. Reporting any issues found for NCR investigation. Able to use a range of lab equipment including pipettes, centrifuges, and analysers, and check their calibration status before use and during weekly area audit. Ensuring adequate lab and equipment stock and consumables required for testing. Following SOPs for testing, and auditing and updating SOPs when required. Liaising with other departments throughout the organisation e.g. Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to co-ordinate testing and materials. Responsible for all the QC paperwork and filing system. Assist Quality Assurance by auditing NCRs, issuing and management of controlled copy documents, filing all QA paperwork.

As an Advance Specialist I worked with HSBC's Advance Account customers. Excellent customer service skills were required for this role. I was responsible for answering customer queries, handling and processing their transactions. I also needed to provide accurate and relevant information to customers on banking and products, so an up to date knowledge of products and services was required.

Funding and Support Officer for a local organisation designed to help unemployed young people learn skills and gain future employment. I looked for social funding opportunities for the organisation. I also helped the service users with job searches, cover letters, CVs and job applications. Good people skills and ability to communicate well and build rapport was essential here. ICT skills were also a large aspect of the job.

A five month placement while at university. I gained experience working in the Biochemistry, Microbiology, Haematology and Pathology labs. I worked for several weeks in each department observing and training in the work undertaken in each lab. Training records were completed in each area in a variety of different skills.

In this role I worked at children's birthday parties and youth clubs in various locations around East Ayrshire. This role required a trust worthy individual as I was working with children, young adults and vulnerable people. Great team work, organisational and communication skills were required, as was the ability to adapt to change quickly and think on your feet. For this role I undertook training in working with vulnerable people and children, manual handling, and had a Disclosure Scotland certificate,
