All decisions are made with this guiding principle: All life is sacred and the diversity of life is essential for the well-being of the planet. Cuvilly has been serving preschool and kindergarten aged children and their families for 38 years. The Cuvilly Board, in light of the immediate threat the planet is experiencing, has decided to broaden its service to a much broader and diverse population through the Cuvilly Consortium for Ecological Justice. The Cuvilly Ecological Justice Consortium (CEJC) is an inclusive gathering of diverse individuals/ organizations who strategically cooperate to accomplish a shared outcome. Through this consortium process the expectation is that the number of participating parties will increase in the movement for ecological justice. Through community building and educational programs for all ages, the Cuvilly Ecological Justice Consortium teaches and models ecological sustainability, honoring the land and all its inhabitants. The CCEJ vision is to create a local community space welcoming to all, where people deeply reconnect to the earth and grow in their understanding that all species are interconnected and interdependent.
