Arivs' Washington Office: Appraisal Coordinator – Assist in organizing, prioritizing, facilitating and monitoring the operational flow of appraisal orders through the Arivs Portal System.•Find appraisers to complete our client’s appraisal orders by identifying and assigning a qualified local appraiser within established time frames. •Aid our clients (Processors, Underwriters, Loan Officers, Loan Officer Assistants, and Brokers, etc.) in tasks associated with the appraisal ordering and management of its required conditions. •Understanding of the real estate appraisal industry and the role it plays in both the real estate industry and mortgage banking in the appraisal process (from seed to shelf). This knowledge aids in ability to quickly problem-solve situations that arise, as well as using autonomy and foresight to prevent potential problems before they occur.•Communicate and resolve questions/concerns, track and report progress of appraisal orders to ensure confidence that they remain on track for successful completion, and aligning all the various “players” in the appraisal process (i.e., clients, appraisers, appraisers’ assistants, borrowers, real estate agents, etc.) so that at all parties are on the same page.

Full-time through AmeriCorps, serving in an office role for the non-profit NEST, whose mission is to help isolated seniors be able to continue living in their own homes.
