Part of a team of three leaders for the new Center for Family and Community Engaged STEAMM.

Developing online and face-to-face learning experiences for educators and education system leaders with collaborative inquiry as the core modality for enhancing professional practices. My primary focus has been on building the National Center for Literacy Education's network of individuals, learning teams, schools and organizations who share central beliefs that literacy is a shared responsibility across grades and content areas, that professionals strengthen their practices best through collaborative inquiry, and that systems must provide the structures and conditions that support these types of ongoing learning experiences. Worked with induction program coordinators from districts and regional offices across the state to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of their programs. Provided the primary communications conduit between these program leaders and the state board of education, grant funders for these programs across the state--impacting state policy and the practice of supporting early career teachers as they transition into classrooms of their own.

Planned for and taught a section of the science methods course for elementary education teacher candidates during their junior and senior years. Course included technology integration, inquiry methodologies, and facilitating instructional practice in local elementary classrooms.
