Senior Relationship Case Manager
CurrentAs a Senior Relationship Case Manager at Ash Brokerage this position serves as a liaison between high producing agents/brokers and insurance carriers to expedite the application and issue process for life insurance applications. Monitors progress of cases, facilitates the procurement of outstanding requirements, and provides ongoing status to agent/broker. Serve as a concierge level liaison between agents / brokers and insurance carriers. Reviews related medical information and identifies issues that may obstruct issuance of the policy as applied for, and develops creative solutions, presenting agents with alternatives. Performs “pre-underwriting" function through review and analysis of medical and occupational information, family history and beneficiary designation. Identifies issues which may impede issuance of the policy. Based on assessment and on knowledge of practices of individual carriers, contacts internal and/or carrier Underwriting staff to confirm validity of issues. Confers with writing agent to discuss coverage alternatives. Based on age, face amount and individual carrier guidelines, orders initial requirements on behalf of the agent/broker. Compares medical information contained in agent's application to that recorded in medical records/ requirements; identifies and investigates obvious discrepancies and obtains further documentation as necessary.
