Luke has over two decades of experience in the energy industry. Recognised as a Fellow of Engineers Australia, he holds an MBA, combining his technical expertise with extensive commercial and management experience.Luke's comprehensive understanding of the renewable energy sector encompasses commercial, engineering, electrical, community relations, network connections, and market fundamentals for both supply and demand. This knowledge provides him with unique insights and a strategic overview of individual projects and the renewable energy sector as a whole.Throughout his career, Luke has demonstrated leadership in various capacities. As a founding team member and Chief Operating Officer at Windlab, he played a pivotal role in overseeing the development of over 40 wind and solar energy sites across four countries. Under his leadership, Windlab developed numerous projects with a particular focus on social licence, achieved recognition in BRW's 'Fast 100' for three successive years, and received two Commonwealth AusIndustry grantsAdditionally, Luke contributed to the success of Reposit, a virtual power plant company, where he served as a founding team member and Chief Operating Officer. Reposit gained global recognition for its impact on the demand side of renewable technology and influencing industry approaches to consumer participation using solar, vehicle to grid and batteries. In 2018, the company received Engineers Australia’s Sir William Hudson Award.Luke's academic journey includes graduating with first-class honors in Engineering from the University of Sydney and earning an MBA scholarship from Melbourne Business School. His early career as a systems engineer with British Aerospace provided a strong technical foundation.As a Fellow of Engineers Australia, Luke continues to contribute to the industry, fostering collaboration, breaking down silos, and establishing successful coalitions. His personal connection to renewable energy is strong, with his farm "Ellendon" overlooking Lake George, hosting 27 wind turbines from Infigen Energy's Capital Wind Farm.
