I've been working in the I.T. industry for the last 25 years I've held every position from every level desktop support to a Director. I've worked in every environment from small private firms, mid size companies, fortune 500 companies, and large Government agencies. Each with their own unique challenges. During my tenure I've regularly been frustrated that the IT world seems to get hooked on one size fits all technology, riding the latest buzz word that seems to be the answer to everything. Virtualization, Cloud solutions, even standard security practices. All of these are great technologies. However, they aren't a one size fits all solution, and when they don't fit the needs of the organization they can become a huge risk not to mention a waste of precious capitol, that can take years to back out of. While I absolutely apply only industry standard technologies, and best practices in everything I do. I pride myself on recommending the best solutions tailored to fit the individual needs and challenges my customers.
