Leila Santillan has served in a variety of capacities in the education space, focused initially on retaining educators in the education sector, and later at a national education research and consulting organization that works with education agencies across the country. Today she serves as Chief Operating Officer at Fort Worth Education Partnership, a local nonprofit focused on ensuring increased access to high quality educational experiences for kids in Fort Worth where she manages school partner grants, data, talent programs, and organizational operations. Leila studied Public Health and Political Science at Saint Louis University and Education Finance at the Georgetown Edunomics Lab, is a Society for Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional, and received a Credential of Readiness with High Honors from Harvard Business School. She enjoys volunteering as a Board Member for Imagination Fort Worth, BoardBuild, and the Foundation for the Young Women's Leadership Academy in Fort Worth. In her free time, you can find her and her husband, a public school teacher, chasing after their three boys.
