I am the Senior Director of Business Development (China) for the Associated Press. I am based in the Associated Press Beijing office. My responsibilities include generating and implementing AP's business strategy for China's mainland market, leading AP's local business team to maximize AP’s revenue growth, building up and maintaining business partnerships, initiating business innovations and product localization, providing after-sale service, as well as communicating with relevant government departments in China mainland. I have had the chance to work through the rapid digitization of the content industry in China. I am passionate about innovative technology and new business models that can help the sector adapt to a fast-changing and globalized content-consuming environment. Having worked for an international organization for over 15 years, I value bridging the content industry and consumers to innovative technology and authentic resources.I believe in lifelong learning and enjoy endeavoring new experiences with curiosity. I am a registered part-time postgraduate student at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on Educational and Developmental Psychology research, which is the area I have dreamed of studying since childhood.
