Actively leading effort in monitoring and optimizing unit performance for polyethylene units, including identifying daily unit key process indicators (KPIs), analyzing production gaps, and completing annual unit benchmark assessment. Expanded role in supporting all on-site polyethylene production units including gas-phase, Martech loop, and autoclave technologies.

Implemented various small to medium-sized plant projects ($10k to $100k range) for olefin and polyethylene units. Supported as process engineering for various major capital projects, risk based inspection (RBI) studies, plant life-cycle analysis (LCA), process safety analysis (PHA/HAZOP), and plant incident investigations.

Focuses on the microfabrication of protein dots patterns through particle lithography and photolithography. Potential application includes the analysis of cellular rolling and adhesion on protein patterned surfaces under live flow condition for the study of cellular migration. Also, this technique carries applications in the field of biosensors and cellular culture.

NIH funded Research Experience for Undergraduate at BCM. Worked with Dr. Bert O'Malley, the department chair of Celluar and Molecular Biology, on possible breast cancer treatment by targeting a specific protein called Steroid Receptor Coactivator-3 (SRC-3). Also examined the post-translational modifications of SRC-3 and Estrogen Receptor alpha.
