I'm enthusiastic about using data structures and algorithms to enhance software. I have a strong background in the Java language, design patterns, and OOP; and I'm familiar with frontend and backend frameworks like React and Spring. As a researcher in Software Engineering Lab at National Taiwan University, I developed a process for decomposing Spring's open-source projects based on object-oriented principles and down to method granularity, then re-composing them into microservices. Through this work, I honed my problem-solving skills and gained a deep understanding of Java and the JVM, utilizing various Design Patterns such as Visitor, Chain of Responsibility, etc., which establishes a solid foundation for my professional expertise. While pursuing my master's degree at National Taiwan University, I explored various domains such as distributed systems and user interface design. In these courses, I participated in team projects (see Project section) where I gained valuable insights into the importance of teamwork, becoming a proficient team player alongside acquiring professional knowledge. After obtaining my master's degree, I spent two months working at a surfing shop as part of my gap months, providing surfing lessons alongside learning. During this time, I interacted with customers from diverse backgrounds, refining my cross-cultural communication skills to leave a positive teaching impression. Currently, I'm fulfilling alternative military service at the National Training Center and will complete my service in May 2024, actively seeking opportunities for new grad.
