Li Wu (Daisy Wu) is a recent graduate from University of Connecticut, with Master degree in financial risk management. (STEM-designated three-year OPT)Before becoming one of the members in Uconn, Li Wu obtained her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Shandong University. The undergraduate study equipped her with solid knowledge in business analysis and mathematical logic. In order to apply her academic knowledge to practical application, Li Wu interned in Bank of China (2014) and E Fund Management Co., Ltd. (2015), which provided her with fundamental understandings in banking system, business operation and fund investment. The internship in China Overseas Land and Investment Ltd. also gave her working experience in marketing management.After Li Wu joined Uconn, where she grew into a deep learner in financial risk management, she became more self-motivated and collaborative. She enhanced her analytical and quantitative skills, and cooperated with her team members to complete several statistical and mathematical projects. Besides, she is a self-learner of Excel, Python, R and Bloomberg, completing several courses offered by certified institutions online. During her graduate period, she passed CFA level one and FRM level one, becoming CFA level two and FRM level two candidate.Li Wu likes acquiring new things and can adapt to changes quickly.
