I enjoy learning and supporting others’ learning journeys. My academic role and professional commitments give me plenty of scope to follow my curiosity and to use insights from my learning to benefit students and colleagues within and beyond my university. I am curious about how students navigate high-stakes, assessed writing and communication at university, particularly on creative and built environment courses. I am also curious about colleagues’ experience of writing that helps build and consolidate their professional identity (e.g., scholarly outputs about higher education or applications for professional recognition and career progression).
