Claims Analyst
CurrentThis position collaborates with internal business units and external vendors to gather and analyze information, perform operational duties, ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, and manage multiple concurrent projects. This role also serves as the main point of contact between our insureds and our claims team to ensure quality customer service. Primary Accountabilities:* Develops reports, analysis, or recommended strategies related to product development, product language, underwriting guidelines, processes, and agent business practices * Provides information to leadership that will affect profit and growth plan execution on an ongoing basis*Analyzes information and presents opportunities to improve product or business practices and procedures * Identifies and analyzes trends to provide analysis and recommendations to leadership * Identifies customer pain point and works cross=departmentally to initiate corrective actions including planning, managing, and executing multiple concurrent projects * Monitors effectiveness of current products and recommends changes and/enhancements to leadership * Analyzes data in support of the formulation and execution of operational plans* Creates, documents, and communicates procedural changes to maximize productivity and efficiency throughout the organization * Leads SOX compliance initiatives * Manages relationships with TPAs, clients, vendors, and external operating units to achieve optimal outcomes * Ensures timely establishment and assignment of new claims through management of inbox, back office, and phone system Specialized Knowledge:* Demonstrated experience providing customer driven solutions, support, and service *Experience with various PC software applications and Microsoft Office Products * Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance product design and underwriting concepts in area of expertise * Project management methodologies, practices, techniques, and tools
