    Currently creating curriculum for Cold Character Reading in a Japanese classroom. Cold Character Reading is a teaching methodology developed by Terry Waltz which focuses beginners on the structure of the language first utilizing high frequency language. This method is used with comprehensible input, followed up with an equivalent amount of reading. Students learn high frequency kanji in context and are able to produce a lot of language with very little vocabulary.
