Responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of Connections, a volunteer mentoring organization that connects older youth transitioning out of the child welfare system with volunteer mentors. Responsibilities include fundraising and development, program design and monitoring, recruitment and supervision of employees, youth, and volunteers, and establishing and maintaining partnerships with numerous provider agencies throughout the NYC child welfare system.

Managed the residential component of a 24/7, 120-bed Residential Treatment Facility for at-risk teenagers (11-22 years old) placed through ACS and CSE. This included the supervision of ten cottages, approximately 100 employees, and a campus-wide peer leadership program. Active member of the Executive Council for the Graham-Windham Agency.

Oversees implementation of Executive Initiatives and special projects with agency-wide impact including the annual planning process, international projects, select committee work, and new strategic initiatives. Promotes and represents the agency at external events and stakeholder meetings, including legislative and advocacy hearings. Recommends and guides senior staff in advocacy and messaging. Serves as main point of contact for critical agency-wide issues and effectively manages internal and external relations.

Oversee and implement communications and marketing for The Children's Village and CV Management Solutions. Manage and grow public relations efforts, including building relationships with local, regional and national media. Oversee brand management and support other agency staff in learning and using it effectively. Coordinate communications projects to promote the agency to the public. Produce external and internal publications. Implement and manage agency websites and social media. Provide staff liaison and support to CV's Leadership Council (junior board). Assist with fundraising events. Supervise department interns. Oversee and provide support for software database, Sharepoint, Wordpress website, social media, and email programs. Assist with grant writing. Special Projects:-Invited by the Iraqi government to travel to Baghdad, where I advised government officials, religious officials, and NGOs on managing the orphan and IDP crisis (July 2015)-Collaborated on testimony for the United States Senate Committee on Finance (May 2015)-Regularly contribute to Huffington Post Articles-Represented the agency at a fundraiser and board meeting for the Iraqi Children's Foundation in Dubai, March 2015-Member of the Medicaid Reform Working Group-Member of Collaborative of Children and Families Health Home Network/Marketing Committee-Member of the Culture Transition Committee overseeing a merger with The Inwood House

Instructed at-risk youth at The Children’s Village, a residential alternative school, where students educated service dogs for people with disabilities. Responsible for final stage of dog training, matching dogs with clients, and training clients to use their service dogs. Managed over 100 volunteers, including introductory and continuing training for volunteers and weekly coordination of responsibilities. Volunteer programs focus on all age groups starting with kids ages 9+. Other organizational responsibilities included grant-writing, editing and writing for newsletter, and database design and maintenance.

Introduction to Sociomedical Sciences: Conducted weekly seminar, graded papers, and held office hours for 20 graduate students.

Designed and implemented a research study entitled "Preliminary study of the effect of animal assisted therapy on pain and anxiety in pediatric patients".

Study coordination at the Statistical and Data Coordinating Center for the Immune Tolerance Network, an NIH-funded network of 30+ studies worldwide. Responsibilities included training site personnel, preparing and attending meetings, designing and maintaining a website, coordinating personnel from various departments, preparing study monitoring reports for internal and NIH use, and otherwise assisting in network management and coordination.
