Attempted to "break" the closed DALLE-2 OpenAI model by getting it to generate harmful content, as a member of a selected 25-person team. OpenAI would then take the learnings from the red team's reports to release the generative AI model responsibly and mitigate harm before public release.

Led independent project to use unsupervised machine learning (K.means clustering) to distinguish terrain types such as grass, blacktop, and mulch from point clouds. Collected terrain data with a stereocamera attached to a robot that I drove around campus. Coded in Python and used OpenCV and PCL (Point Cloud Library).
