I am a researcher and professor in the area of Visual Arts and Design.Currently I am a guest professor at Federal University of Bahia.I have been working with institutions in Brazil, Germany, Italy and Portugal. Since 2018 I have been a guest researcher at the College of Arts, In Coimbra University, and guest lecturer at Frei Universität and Weizensee Art School, in Berlin.In Brazil, I taught at Design School of Minas Gerais State University, Design School of Unisinos, the Innovation Center of the International Business School Fundação Dom Cabral, and Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, among others. International collaborations include Politecnico di Milano, Italy; Hafencity Hamburg University, HBFK and The Do School, Germany; Cocreando Srl that is an international research, strategy and design studio based in Milan, Italy; Plataforma Design, a Brazilian non-governamental organization for design, culture and biodiversity; Parsons New School, in USA, with the project Dream:In, that promotes open innovation and design strategies in India, USA and Brazil.I hold a PhD on Innovation Management and Design (2005) at Federal University of Santa Catarina with studies at Politecnico di Milano (Italy), where I collaborated as visiting professor (2010-2011).
