Primary work in the Covid-19 Diagnostics Laboratory. Responsible for managing incoming samples and ensures that necessary information has been received to move forward with processing. Perform data entry into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), including assigning specific computer-generated identification numbers to each sample. This role was primarily within the Covid-19 Diagnostics Response.

Monitored pool activities and ensured member safety. Lifeguards need to possess knowledge of rescue procedures and emergency medical procedures. To help prevent incidents, lifeguards must enforce all safety guidelines as outlined by the YMCA. To ensure safety, lifeguards must remain alert throughout an entire shift. To gain a YMCA lifeguard job, applicant must hold lifeguard and CPR certification. A lifeguard may need to possess a pre-employment physical and a skills test. Additional job duties a lifeguard performs include preparing activity and incident reports and performing pool maintenance.

- Coordinated and conducted a nine-day road-trip to New Orleans of 12 participants for Spring Break.- Served in disaster relief service work in various non-profit venues of New Orleans through the Camp Restore New Orleans.- Administered a food and activities budget for all the participants and used tax-exempt procedures.

Culture and analysis of Human Embryonic Kidney Cells (HEK293T) for characterization of Hsp-70 pathway. Utilized different nucleophiles to detect heat-shock response. Responsibilities include:- 48-hour cell culture of HEK293T cells for preparation of in-situ detection of Hsp-70 induction with firefly and renilla reporter plasmids.- Adapted and reproduced DIY transfection method for HEK293T Cells.- Data entry and analysis of Hsp-70 inhibition.

-Helped integrate first-year students into the Dickinson community and build rapport through frequent check-ins, planning hall events and programs, creating informational bulletin boards, and connecting residents with different resources on campus.-Managed a diverse community of first-year students in a college residence hall.-Served with other resident advisors in daily on call rotation in order to maintain that Dickinson Community guidelines were adequately upheld.-Met weekly with RAs, supervisors, and professional staff members to address residence life concerns and procedures, participate in leadership training, and take part in team-building activities.-Assisted residents as they managed personal issues, adjustment issues, roommate conflicts, or any other academic-related problems .-Managed the daily operation of my assigned residential area by assisting with opening and closing of residential houses, responding to facility needs, and facilitating health and safety inspections.
