Lead on the design, development and implementation of the Go On Programme in Lewisham – establishing the key objectives, performance measures, deliverables and timeframes. Engage with and inspire cross sector stakeholders to begin or increase activity to support individuals, small businesses and charities to increase their Basic Digital Skills across the borough. Responsibility for managing stakeholder relationships with community intermediaries, local government and other private and public sector organisations. Lead and support work focused on the role the council plays in providing digital services internally and to the wider community (e.g. supporting council led infrastructure implementations and targeted community projects as required).Work with the “Go On” Charity to establish relationships with key stakeholders responsible for the delivery of the programmeBe the key liaison between stakeholders engaged with the programme, the third sector sponsor (GoOn) and the council steering group and be responsible for negotiating and influencing the direction of programme delivery

Responsibilities.• Bring in added value by coordinating and promoting partner activities, such as UK Online centres, Digital Unit, etc.• Promote and manage a volunteering scheme matching technically experienced volunteers to people seeking small amounts of specific IT training or support• Capture best practice, case studies and lessons learned, promoting and sharing this locally and regionally.• Develop a network of volunteers to support ICT usage.• To deliver explicit action plans with agreed outputs and outcomes in line with specific strategies related to key stakeholders – to be agreed with Citizens Online, BT and key stakeholders. • Make provision for thorough independent, on-going evaluation of the programme as it evolves and ensure that the findings are fed into the programme as it develops.
