Leading Vehicle Dynamics CAE team delivering axle & full vehicle simulation to support development of Dyson Electric vehicle. Creating strategy and processes from scratch to drive efficiency and accuracy alongside vehicle development. Benchmarked and implemented static and dynamic driving simulator activity. Member of IPG Automotive advisory Board• Developed axle design through CAE to demonstrate axle performance against targets and competitor vehicles• Created full vehicle simulation models, test environment and post processing to objectively evaluate vehicle behavior against targets and competitor vehicles. Completed design studies and tuning range investigations to understand impact to vehicle behavior.• Involved in benchmarking Dynamic Driving simulators and leading driving simulator activity to develop process for subjective evaluation of Dyson vehicle before physical prototype was available. Also managed the purchase and installation of a static driving simulator at Dyson• Defined and project managed a number of project with CAE suppliers to deliver improved processes, validated competitor models and test environments. Facilitated project definition to implement IPG CarMaker onto VI-Grade Simulators through negotiation between both suppliers top management teams• Worked with other Dyson teams advising them on CAE development and supporting them with the implementation of CarMaker into their teams• Member of IPG Automotive advisory board.
