I chose to study physics at Rensselaer to give me a strong basis in a subject I'm passionate about. Physics can explain even the most complicated puzzles around us, and I wanted to do my part. I've discovered my love of experimental physics, from the problem solving behind running experiments to the skill required to build working experimental equipment. Furthermore, while at RPI I discovered a passion for experimental work, especially within plasmonics and photonics. Out of college I got the chance to peruse research in electrochemistry and fuel cell research at Plug Power where I developed knowledge and experience running lab spaces and experiments.
