Initially joining the group in the role of Service Manager for Connollys Volkswagen Sligo currently this role has expanded to also include Audi Sligo where I have overall responsibility for the day to day operations of both Service divisions .Connolly Motor Group is a family business since 1939. MUTEC the Municipal and Utilities Truck Equipment Company, is an authorised Mercedes-Benz Commercial vehicle Dealership supplying and maintaining the full range of Mercedes -Benz Commercial Vehicles .Joining as Service Manager at an exciting time for the organisation as we are completing the redevelopment of our Sales facilities with our new showroom due to open in April 2017

Having successfully Integrated Fiat & Alfa Romeo Aftersales into the wider United Motors Company,I have been tasked with restructuring the Warranty and Technical Areas of United Motors Company.• Introduced Team Concept for Technical Division creating Regional Teams reporting to National Technical Department.• Developed internal online Technical Ticket system to improve information flow between regions and National Technical Department.• Developed and implemented Fix First Visit Process including an on line real time reporting system.• Carried out review of training and qualification of Quality Control staff and implemented training regime to improve inspection standards.• Reviewed qualification of all Warranty Administrators and ensured within six months that department had moved from 0 % certified to 100% FCA certified.• Appraised Equipment fit out requirements for new mechanical and accident repair centres and decided and approved multi- million SAR equipment purchase.• In association with National Aftersales Director revised organisation Incentive scheme and implemented revised policy.• Responsible for all Technical Recruitment for the organisation. I have successfully recruited over one hundred and forty technical staff and integrated them into the United Motors organisation during 2015 and 2016.United Motors Company was established in 1999 as merger of United Arab Motors Company and Al-Essayi Trading Corp. Appointed to review and implement a restructuring plan for the Aftersales activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Fiat, Fiat Professional and Alfa Romeo which was set originally up as a standalone business, but had underperformed for a number of years. • Implemented a range of KPI to evaluate the business and decide on the business strategy going forward.• Devised and Implemented National Aftersales Budget.• Devised and Implemented Technician’s Incentive Scheme.• Devised and successfully implemented an Aftersales Integration plan for the business into the wider United Motor Company Network.• Introduced Fiat, Fiat Professional and Alfa Romeo into thirty four facilities nationwide • Increased National labour sales by over 100% and increased National Parts sales by over 85% year on year

• With responsibility for operational control of all activities within the Service & Parts Department of multi franchised dealership currently operating Car and Commercial bays ,Inspection Pits, Pre Inspection Bays and Dedicated 4 wheel alignment Bay. • Responsibility for all activities within the Accident Repair Department currently operating 2 Spray Booths, Car-o-Liner Measuring System and Estimating using both Autodex & Glassmatix estimating ststems.• Ensured that the department achieves budget objectives by continually reviewing accounts, operating controls and financial expenditure.• Devised implements and reviewed marketing campaigns to ensure that workshop KPI is in line with organisational goals. • Responsible for personnel recruitment, training & disciplinary issues for all technical and administrative employees within Service & Parts Departments currently consisting of a total of 60+ staff. • Ensured that all clerical functions are carried out in accordance with policies (Warranty claims, workshop loading, and customer satisfaction).• Monitored Customer Satisfaction Indices and personally addressed any customer complaints.• Ensured that all current Health and Safety legislation is adhered to. • Attended regular meetings with Senior Management of General Motors Ireland as part of a four man national after sales committee responsible for representing all GM franchised dealers in Ireland.
