Reported to 14-member Board of Directors and 10 Board of Trustees.• Fully funded reserves accounts with 83% growth, from $1.2 million to $2.2 million. • Sustained average positive cash flow from 2009 through 2019 of $200,000.• Initiated management restructuring plan, resulting in reduction of 5 exempt staff and savings of $240,000.• Implemented shared services agreement with neighboring YMCA in areas of finance, human resources, membership, fitness and marketing. Achieved $80,000 in savings and added efficiencies and expertise. • Maintained 71% membership retention rate for Association over 9-year period. • Increased retention by 3% after designing and implementing 24/7 facility access model, adding value and driving membership. • Initiated and implemented Educational Incentive Tax Credit program with local businesses, resulting in $520,000 from 2009 to 2019 towards preschool program for 90 children. • Secured commitments of $6.3 million through public, private and foundation gifts for $9 million Capital Campaign. Operationally funded an additional $1.5 million of YMCA Capital Expansion Reserves. • Led Metro Board through Two 6-month Real Time Strategic Planning processes, which resulted in new vision for Association and annualized operation plan.• Partnered with Hanover First Church of God to establish a 12-acre land option for future YMCA indoor sports complex and facility that opened in May 2017.• Secured Well Span Health Corporate partnership and funding totaling $100,000 to deliver wellness, sports programs and on-site support.• Initiated mission-driven relationships with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to align and deliver athletic and value-based programming for youth.

Directed operations of 8 full-service suburban and urban facility branches with combined budget of $14 million. Managed and supervised 8 full-time Branch Directors, Association Aquatic Director and Maintenance Director. • Administered Strategic Planning process with board volunteers and key community stakeholders with organizational objectives and tactics. • Directed monthly reforecasts and financial trends for delivery to Association board, with net results of surplus operations and 3-5% reduction in costs over 2.5 years.• Developed donor recognition for Annual Support Campaign, resulting in 30% increase in Chairman’s Roundtable gifts for Association.• Achieved cost savings of $200,000 by re-organizing and consolidating current management and full-time exempt personnel.• Mentored and developed 3 direct reports, who received internal promotions / job opportunities in other YMCA Associations.

Managed entire operation of 5 full-facility branches, 1 storefront location and the association’s full service year-round camping facility, with a combined budget of $15.0M and the implementation and execution of strategic plan objectives. Operationalized and monitored Seers Member Satisfaction results and was actively involved in the Winfield Market Research Study targeting existing and potential growth opportunities. Responsible for 10 full time direct reports.

Responsible for the success of North Carolina’s fourth largest YMCA association’s suburban and urban branches including a combined budget of $12M. Managed Seers Analytics market research study of potential future YMCA sites.

Compiled a 67-88-13 mark in 9 seasons. Coached 20 all Conference players; 2 all Region and 1 All American.
