The education projects involved me teaching a class of around 20 young students in basic skills of English, Maths and Science. This required good confidence and leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate well with pupils whose English skills were limited. Handing out provisions to local villagers such as clothing and food involved having to have strong patience, and the ability to be equitable with the provisions that were donated, ensuring that everybody received a fair amount. It was also crucial to be understanding and non-judgemental of those who were in poor circumstances.
